About North by Northeast Pastor Mary Overstreet long envisioned a free health clinic in her neighborhood, where many people go without health insurance, needed medical care and medications. Her relief work after Hurricane Katrina brought her together with Dr. Jill Ginsberg, and they made the dream a reality. Since August 2006, volunteer medical providers have treated over 3000 patients, offering free health care and medications to neighborhood residents in need. |

Thursday Walk-In Clinic 6-8:30pm
We are open for health screening and basic medical services for uninsured adults (patient check-in begins at 5:30pm).

Day of Service Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Kaiser Permanente provided staff for a full day clinic on Monday, January 18th in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. As part of an annual day of service eleven health care professionals and clerical staff spent the day at North by Northeast. We provided follow-up care for 34 patients with diabetes and/or high blood pressure, and administered 20 flu shots. Thanks to all who participated; it was a great day!
